- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha or chili paste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, green onions, breadcrumbs, and egg. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- While baking, in a small bowl, whisk together honey and sriracha.
- Brush the cooked meatballs with the sweet and spicy glaze and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove and garnish with sesame seeds and additional green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
- Can be cooked on stovetop in a skillet for a faster method.
- Serve with steamed rice or Asian noodles for a complete meal.
