- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fruit juice (red or mixed berry)
- 2 packets unflavored gelatin
- White candy melts or white chocolate
- Red food coloring
- Black edible marker or small chocolate chips for pupils
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and fruit juice, then sprinkle gelatin over mixture and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat over low heat, stirring until gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into small silicone molds or cups, about halfway full.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set.
- Melt the white candy melts or chocolate, then drizzle over the gelatin to create eyeball whites.
- Use red food coloring to add veins or blood effect around the eyeballs.
- Once hardened, use an edible marker or small chocolate chips to create pupils and realistic eyeball details.
Notes
- Use silicone molds for more realistic eyeball shapes.
- Adjust red coloring to increase ‘blood’ effect.
- Ensure candies are fully hardened before decorating.
