- 2 large chicken breasts, sliced
- 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning.
- Cook chicken in the skillet until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced peppers and garlic for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Return chicken to the skillet, toss with the sauce and cooked pasta until well coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
- Use grilled chicken for extra smoky flavor.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
