  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

  • 2 teaspoons honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked jasmine rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cook until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Redice heat and stir in sliced green onions.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and extra green onions if desired.
