- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 2 teaspoons honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooked jasmine rice for serving
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Redice heat and stir in sliced green onions.
- Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and extra green onions if desired.
Notes
- You can add shredded carrots or chopped bell peppers for extra vegetables.
- Adjust spice level with more or less red pepper flakes.
- Best served immediately, garnished with additional sesame seeds for added crunch.
