Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free alternative
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or dairy-free milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Olive oil spray or cooking spray
Instructions
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat. Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- Whisk together flour, almond milk, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth to make the batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, fully coating it, then place on a tray.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange battered cauliflower in a single layer and air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Transfer cooked cauliflower to a large bowl, pour buffalo sauce over, and toss until evenly coated.
- Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes at 400°F for extra crispiness.
Notes
- For gluten-free options, use gluten-free flour blends.
- Adjust the level of spiciness by modifying the buffalo sauce.
- Serve immediately for best crunch.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
