Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in bell peppers and cook until tender-crisp, about 3 minutes.
  6. Return beef to skillet, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  7. Toss everything together and cook for 2 more minutes to combine flavors.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
