Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yeast, warm milk, and a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add remaining sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and ground cinnamon, kneading until a smooth dough forms.
- Fold in dried cranberries or dried fruits evenly into the dough.
- Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or bunt pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and slicing.
