Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan for the sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by rinsing the chicken breasts and patting them dry. Flatten them slightly for even cooking, then season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Mix the grated Parmesan cheese with all-purpose flour in a shallow dish. Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 4-5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, then add extra Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer and thicken for a few minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating each piece with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Consider pairing with pasta or vegetables for a complete meal.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle more Parmesan cheese over the chicken before serving.
- You can substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt or coconut milk for a lighter version.
- Reheat leftovers gently in a skillet or microwave, adding a splash of cream or milk to restore the sauce’s creaminess.
