  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped pickles (optional)
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce or sugar-free ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook bacon until crispy and crumble; set aside. Dice onions and prepare other ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté onions until translucent. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, half of the cheddar, tomato sauce, Dijon mustard, and crumbled bacon. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and extra bacon if desired.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with pickles, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. Serve hot and enjoy this low-carb burger bake!
