- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup chopped pickles (optional)
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce or sugar-free ketchup
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook bacon until crispy and crumble; set aside. Dice onions and prepare other ingredients.
- In a large skillet, sauté onions until translucent. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, half of the cheddar, tomato sauce, Dijon mustard, and crumbled bacon. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and extra bacon if desired.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven, garnish with pickles, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. Serve hot and enjoy this low-carb burger bake!

- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- This casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
