Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add sliced pepperoncini peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over top, and cook for 2 minutes to reheat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer pepperoncini peppers.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
