A luscious blueberry cream cheese bar with a buttery crust, creamy filling, and fresh blueberry topping, perfect for a sweet snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar to make the crust. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
  6. Top with fresh blueberries and sprinkle with additional granulated sugar.
  7. Bake for another 20 minutes until the filling is set and blueberries are slightly cooked.
  8. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Chill the bars in the refrigerator for an hour before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Use additional fresh blueberries for garnishing.
