- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar to make the crust. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
- Top with fresh blueberries and sprinkle with additional granulated sugar.
- Bake for another 20 minutes until the filling is set and blueberries are slightly cooked.
- Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Chill the bars in the refrigerator for an hour before slicing for cleaner cuts.
- Use additional fresh blueberries for garnishing.
