Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground cinnamon, and salt. Gradually stir the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until fully incorporated. Fold in optional nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
