Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix wet ingredients into dry until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet and gently flatten.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritters and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or allspice to the batter.
