- 4 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour sauce over chicken ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred chicken with two forks and stir to coat with sauce.
- Serve hot with sides of choice.

- You can use chicken thighs for more flavor and juiciness.
- Adjust sauce quantity for more or less saucy chicken.
