- 24 mini sausages or cocktail hot dogs
- 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Toothpicks for securing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wrap each mini sausage with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Roll the bacon-wrapped sausages in brown sugar to coat evenly.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy and caramelized.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve with optional dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, drizzle with honey before baking.
- Alternatively, add a dash of cayenne pepper for spicy variation.
