- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- White icing or royal icing
- Candy eyes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan.
- Melt butter and mix with sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Sift cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture. Stir until combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.
- Spread white icing over cooled brownies to create bandages.
- Use additional icing to create mummy’s wrapping lines.
- Place candy eyes onto the icing to complete the spooky look.
Notes
- You can use store-bought white icing for ease.
- Decorate immediately after icing sets for best results.
