- 3 to 4 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4-5 baby potatoes, halved
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast into a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix evenly over the meat.
- Cut butter into chunks and place on top of the roast.
- Add potatoes and carrots around the beef.
- Pour beef broth over everything.
- Cook on low for 8 hours until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
- Shred the beef and serve with vegetables and gravy, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle with pepper or additional herbs before cooking.
- Can be served over mashed potatoes or crusty bread for a complete meal.
