Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced beef sirloin or ribeye
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef to the pan and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots to the pan and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender but crisp.
- Pour in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce and toss everything together until well coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot with steamed rice.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding red pepper flakes or sliced chili peppers.
- Marinate the beef for more flavor; longer marination enhances tenderness.
- Serve over jasmine rice or noodles for a complete meal.
