Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce, divided
- 2 apples, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and mix until combined. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream, mixing well.
- Divide batter into two halves. Fold salted caramel into one half and cinnamon, nutmeg, and apple slices into the other.
- Pour the caramel-flavored batter over the crust, then layer the apple mixture on top. Swirl gently for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes until the center is set. Cool completely before chilling for at least 4 hours.
- Prior to serving, drizzle with remaining salted caramel sauce and garnish with additional apple slices if desired.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is softened for smooth batter.
- Use firm, fresh apples for best flavor and texture.
- Chill cheesecake thoroughly for clean slicing.
