- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 12 small taco shells or tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- Fresh lettuce, chopped
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with taco seasoning.
- Fill each taco shell with the seasoned chicken, then top with cheese.
- Place tacos on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts and shells are crispy.
- Remove from oven, garnish with lettuce, onions, cilantro, and jalapeños if desired.
- Serve with sour cream and lime wedges.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add diced tomatoes or avocado on top.
- Use corn or flour tortillas based on your preference.
- Adjust spice level by adding more jalapeños.
