  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Optional: sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant. Toss in bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  4. Return beef to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for 2 more minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
