- 200g sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 200g fresh Asian noodles or rice noodles
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef across the grain and marinate with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and pepper for 10 minutes.
- Cook the noodles in boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Stir in oyster sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and remaining soy sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add noodles and beef back into the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until glossy and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

- For extra flavor, add vegetables like bell peppers or bok choy during cooking.
- Use gluten-free soy sauce or tamari for a gluten-free version.
