- 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced beef steak
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large low-carb tortillas or lettuce wraps
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; cook until fragrant and translucent.
- Thinly slice the beef and add to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in sliced peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture, allowing it to melt slightly.
- Lay out tortillas or lettuce wraps. Spoon the beef and cheese mixture onto each, roll up tightly.
- Slice in half if desired and serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if preferred.
