Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
- Transfer to a baking dish and pour balsamic vinegar over top.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on each breast.
- Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
