Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef chuck or sirloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: Red chili flakes for a spicy kick
Instructions
- Season the beef cubes with salt, pepper, and dried herbs to enhance flavor.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add beef chunks and sear until browned on all sides, then transfer to the slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Pour this garlic butter mixture over the beef in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with thyme or rosemary for added aroma.
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4–6 hours until the beef is tender and melt-in-your-mouth.
- Before serving, toss the beef bites in the garlic butter sauce to coat thoroughly. Garnish with chopped parsley and chili flakes if desired. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or microwave, adding a splash of water or broth to keep the beef moist.
- This dish pairs well with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, pasta, or rice for a complete meal.
