- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Lightly dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken, sprinkle with Romano cheese and parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or pasta for a complete meal.
