Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a lined baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then fold in sour cream. Spread this mixture over the baked crust.
- Distribute blueberries evenly over the cream cheese layer, lightly pressing them in.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes until edges are golden and center is set. Cool completely in the pan.
- Optional: sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Slice into squares and serve chilled, optionally with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- Use fresh blueberries for optimal flavor; frozen berries should be thawed and drained.
- Add crunch by sprinkling crushed nuts over the blueberries before baking.
- Chill the bars for at least 2 hours before slicing to ensure neat cuts and firmness.
