- 1 pound (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef or sausage until browned, then transfer to the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion and garlic to the slow cooker along with crushed tomatoes, broth, and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in broken lasagna noodles, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- In the last 15 minutes of cooking, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top, allowing them to melt.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving hot.

- Feel free to add spinach or other vegetables for extra nutrition.
- Adjust the amount of cheese to taste.
