- 2 pounds cooked shredded chicken
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add shredded chicken, marinara sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes to the crockpot. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Stir the soup and transfer to bowls. Top each with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Allow the cheese to melt for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh basil and serving hot.
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked shredded chicken for faster preparation.
- Adjust spice level by adding more red pepper flakes.
