- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups uncooked macaroni pasta
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet, cook until softened.
- Transfer beef mixture to the crock pot. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add uncooked pasta to the crock pot. Stir and cook until tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste for more spice or herbs.
- For a thicker sauce, leave the lid off during the last 30 minutes of cooking to reduce liquid.
