- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until translucent.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Layer sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Spread cooked beef mixture over potatoes.
- Pour beef broth over the layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last 30 minutes of cooking until melted.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
