Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Layer sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Spread cooked beef mixture over potatoes.
  5. Pour beef broth over the layers.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top during the last 30 minutes of cooking until melted.
