Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced
- 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Roast on a baking sheet for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
- Meanwhile, season steak slices with salt and pepper.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add steak back to the skillet, spooning garlic butter over the slices. Serve hot alongside the roasted potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on steak thickness and preferred doneness.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan or a squeeze of lemon.
