- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yeast, sugar, and warm milk. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cover and let rise for 20-30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm or make ahead and reheat.
Notes
- Reheat rolls in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes for best texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
