Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
- Add flour all at once, stirring vigorously until mixture forms a dough and pulls away from sides.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then add vanilla and the egg, mixing until smooth and combined.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spoon or pipe the dough into small bite-sized pieces onto a parchment-lined tray.
- Place the bites into the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Toss the hot churro bites in cinnamon sugar to coat evenly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
