- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 oz. lo mein or Asian egg noodles
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup sliced green onions
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add bell peppers and cook until slightly tender. Pour in sauce mixture and cook until thickened.
- Add cooked noodles and sesame oil, toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or carrots for extra crunch.
- Adjust sweetness and saltiness by modifying soy sauce and brown sugar quantities.
