- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sliced jalapeños, green onions, bacon bits
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the cooked chicken and season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook until heated through, then remove from heat.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a portion of the garlic chicken mixture evenly across the center. Top with shredded cheese and optional ingredients like jalapeños or green onions.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from one end to the other to enclose the filling securely. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- For a crispy finish, cook the assembled wraps in a skillet over medium heat, seam side down, for 2-3 minutes until golden. Flip and cook the other side until crispy and cheese melts. Alternatively, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add slices of jalapeños, green onions, or bacon bits before rolling.
- To keep leftovers, store wrapped in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
