Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños, for extra spice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Set aside to infuse the flavors.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, and sauté until heated through and slightly browned. Mix in half of the garlic butter.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with remaining garlic butter. Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella.
  4. Lay out tortillas on a flat surface. Spread the cheesy garlic mixture evenly over each. Add the seasoned chicken, then top with remaining mozzarella.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly. Toast in a skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cheese is melted, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
