- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown chicken on both sides.
- Place browned chicken in the crockpot and top with marinara sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until tender.
- In the last 15 minutes of cooking, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve over cooked pasta.

- You can use shredded cooked chicken for a quicker option.
