Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, onion, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and set aside.
  3. Place meatballs in the slow cooker and pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over them.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until meatballs are cooked through.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk flour with 1/4 cup water to create a slurry. Add to the slow cooker and stir to thicken the gravy.
  6. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until gravy thickens.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
