- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, onion, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and set aside.
- Place meatballs in the slow cooker and pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over them.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until meatballs are cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk flour with 1/4 cup water to create a slurry. Add to the slow cooker and stir to thicken the gravy.
- Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until gravy thickens.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can add chopped mushrooms or thyme for extra flavor.
- Serve these meatballs over mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.
