Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for gravy)

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour over meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. For a thicker gravy, remove meatballs and stir in cornstarch mixed with a little water. Cook on high until thickened.
  6. Serve meatballs with gravy over mashed potatoes or noodles, garnished with parsley.
