Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, salt, and vanilla; bring to a boil.
- Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Pipe small 2-inch strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Once baked, immediately roll the churro bites in cinnamon sugar or spray with cooking spray and toss in the mixture.
- Serve warm with optional chocolate drizzle.
