Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each side.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
