Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the brownie layer: Melt butter and mix with sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool.
- For the cheesecake: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and sour cream; mix well. Spread over cooled brownie layer.
- Bake the assembled cheesecake for 40 minutes. Cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, warm caramel sauce and pour over the top. Garnish with sea salt flakes if desired. Slice and enjoy.
