A rich and creamy seafood stuffed shells dish combining tender pasta shells filled with a savory seafood mixture, baked to perfection with melted cheese and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, crab meat)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare seafood: sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant, add seafood and cook until just done. Season with salt, pepper, and basil.
  3. Mix ricotta, half of mozzarella, Parmesan, and heavy cream in a bowl. Fold in cooked seafood.
  4. Stuff each shell with seafood mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
