- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in the dish, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in heavy cream, milk, and roasted garlic. Bring to a simmer.
- Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley before serving.
