This creamy pesto pasta is a delightful one-pot meal that combines fresh basil, garlic, Parmesan, and a rich creamy sauce, cooked to perfection for an effortless and flavorful dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, extra basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
