Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add diced tomatoes (with juice) and bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta directly into the pot and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir well, and cook until the pasta is al dente, about 10 minutes, adding more water if needed.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and extra cheese if desired.
