- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Simmer marinara sauce in a large skillet, add baked meatballs, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
Notes
- You can also cook the meatballs in a slow cooker for a hands-off approach.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan and chopped basil for added flavor.
