- 8 oz spaghetti or your favorite pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Reduce heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Toss in cooked pasta, mixing well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Substitute with gluten-free pasta if needed.
