- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 head garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent and fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Puree the soup until smooth using an immersion blender or regular blender.
- Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh herbs.
Notes
You can add a splash of white wine during sautéing for extra depth, or garnish with croutons for added crunch.
